☕️ open if you feel like you're starting to lose the plot

If right now you feel like you’re constantly publishing content… but it’s not quite doing what you want it to do for your business. At least not in any measurable or meaningful way - I’m willing to bet you’ve said to yourself at some point, “what’s the f*cking point.”

Because so many founders start to go through the motions of content creation and get stuck in execution for execution’s sake, without ever stopping to ask:

“Is this content actually leading somewhere, or am I spinning myself in a damn circle???”

And it’s not from lack of effort - you’re truly dedicating so much time to your content creation, and what you’re building is intended to be a valuable marketing asset.

…but is it actually doing its job?

Every asset should be working together to build a content system that pushes your best-fit people closer to a confident purchasing decision.

The good news is that I can almost guarantee that the results you’re after are rarely about creating *more* output; it’s simply about optimizing, tweaking, and realigning to make what you’re already doing work harder.

This is what I help my clients refine- we start by looking at all the content they’re actually producing and seeing where their team’s time is going and what avenues can be optimized (or honestly, just cut out completely)

I’m not here to hand you a strategy and disappear.

I’m here to help you think better, decide faster, and execute in a way that actually supports your business long-term.

So instead of constantly second-guessing what to say or create, you know exactly what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how it connects to the bigger picture.

If you’re ready for that level of support, feel free to reply to this email, and we can chat about the next best move for your business.

And if you’re more of a DIY girlie, and this email gave you the kick in the pants you needed to lock tf in, I want to leave you with this lil resource where I break down exactly how my brain vets a content idea before squeezing alllll the juice out of it and so we can integrate it into a content system that’s strategically crafted to help you reach your business goals.

Seriously, you're gonna wanna read that guide or at the very least, scroll to the bottom and queue up the podcast episodes I linked. They will help you *so* much.

And of course, hit me with your thoughts, questions, etc. I love hearing from you guys and get genuinely excited when y'all reply. 🫶

Catch ya next week,

Marissa

My best friend said something in her MOH speech that I can’t stop thinking about, and it honestly comes full circle and will directly influence how you’re showing up online, so stay with me here. For context, we’ve been friends since the second grade, when we met in 2002. Meaning she’s been by my side through it allllll. The scrapbooking phase. The emo kid phase. The scene kid phase - or as she called it - the neon phase. The ‘make her record videos with me and post them on the internet’...

How many times have you tried to walk the dog *quickly* because you're running late, but your dog basically looks back at you like, "yeah...nice try buddy," and keeps sniffing, slowly trying to find the best place to drop a deuce? Your timeline is irrelevant here. What you want doesn't matter because your dog has to do what he has to do, and you quite literally can't rush sh*t. That's basically the same thing that happens when you post content expecting your audience to react immediately....

What do you do when you love something? You yap about it. That's honestly the whole secret to creating content that doesn't feel like nails on a chalkboard. The more excited you are about what you're doing, the easier it is to talk about. The more human it becomes, the better it performs. But unfortunately, most people get tripped up before they even get there. Because either they're so focused on "doing content right" that they lose their actual message in the process. Or they're busy...
