Hey, hi, hello. I sure hope you sang the subject line to the tune of Rebecca Black's Friday... which is ironic since I just realized Rebecca...BLACK Friday. MEANT TO BE. TRULY.
But let's talk Q4 - because we're about to enter the craziest time of year.
no matter if you're B2B or B2C... q4 always hits different!
People are buying. People are panicking that they didn't hit their goals. People are "ready to do things differently" next year.
Between the holiday shopping mindset, businesses with leftover EOY budget to spend, and consumers (both in personal AND business life) are ready to jumpstart their 2027 on a better note, you've got a LOT of marketing opportunities coming up fast.
So how tf you planning to make the most of this momentum in your marketing? 👀
Let's start with BFCM...
Are you participating? If so, wacha doing? Map the promo - the actual sale, the timeline, the messaging, and the goals you wanna hit now. Then use the next month to record, write, build, and edit the content.
That may look like a few social posts and email campaigns. Or you may have to update website headers, activate promo codes, checkout timers, etc. etc.
You can go buckwild or keep it simple AF. But either way. Plan that sh*t out NOW.
I made you a free Black Friday Campaign Planner btw!
You can grab it here!
Holiday Shopping
If you're not participating in a BFCM sale, don't lose sight of something fun like a 12 Days of Christmas campaign where you can do daily giveaways or free nuggets of wisdom around a common theme (like an IG signature series) or literally any spin on this "12-day" idea where you're showing up with goodies for twelve days straight.
Again, start planning this sh*t before it's time. Record your content in October so you have all of November to build and edit and refine so it's all DONE and ready to go before December even starts.
Because no one...literally no one wants to be planning content when they could be eating Christmas cookies. Ya feel me?!
EOY Energy
You could be selling anything to anyone, literally, and at the end of the year people are READY to make better decisions (or spend the remainder of their budget and/or get a few more last-minute tax write-offs on the books), so how are you tapping into the thoughts people are already having during this time of year so you can be the one they choose??
We've literally got THREE months left of 2026 - so let's make the most of it!
And on that note! If one of your 2026 goals was to become more consistent on Instagram...and oops, you're still kind of pushing it to the "I'll figure that out tomorrow" task list 😬
Here's your reminder that I'm accepting new clients for my Social Strategy and Content Support package!
The nitty-gritty details on how this package works:
- Prep work. We start with an in-depth questionnaire and strategy session to make sure I understand exactly what’s going on in your business and on your feed. I’m digging into your goals, current metrics, audience analysis, competitors, voice, and more. Basically, I’m going full investigator mode so I can be your body double online.
- Strategy deck. Then I build your custom social strategy based entirely on what I learned in my investigation. This strategy sets the guardrails for everything we create together. It defines your voice, verbiage, and visuals so that we don’t go rogue and post random memes for likes when we’re feeling feisty.
- Your 12 posts. You get a Google Doc with 12 ready-to-build IG posts every single month. You’ll have the captions, carousel or static post text, Reel scripts, on-screen hooks, and design guidance for all of it. You just take what you see, build or film what’s needed, and hit post.
- Monthly yap sesh. Every month, we meet for 60 minutes to review your content, answer questions, talk through what’s coming up, and figure out what’s worth squeezing more juice out of.
Then we rinse and repeat for three months (unless you re-sign, which tbh, you probably will after you see how freaking easy it is to create strategic AF social content)
You can inquire here if that sounds like exactly what you're missing, and I'll be in touch!
Catch ya next week,
Marissa
