☕️ you’re not allowed to ghost your audience (again)

Okay so Q4 is here, which means we need a content plan to stay consistent during the busiest season of the year.

What that's going to look like:

→ Commit to 1-3 long-form pieces of content per month

→ Repurpose TF out of that thang and fill your social calendar weeks in advance with brand-led content

More specifically:

Start by choosing your fave long-form medium: blog, pod, email, substack, youtube, etc. and 3-5 master themes.

Those themes will be what you deep-dive into in the long-form pieces.

Depending on your posting cadence (1 per week or 1 per month), that will fill an entire month or run until the end of Q4. slay.

The key is to stay JUICY with whatever topic you cover, so you have tons of golden nuggets to extract when repurposing.

Then you're going to map out 3 social posts per week.

My go-to channel is IG because it’s so easy to repurpose across the various formats:

→ Carousel

→ Face-to-cam reel

→ B-roll reel with text overlay + audio

→ B-roll reel with voiceover

This is where it gets fun: you can start plugging repurposed assets from the core long-form idea into your content calendar like a puzzle.

For example:

Monday → Carousel on idea 1

Wednesday → Face-to-cam reel on idea 2

Friday → B-roll reel with text overlay + audio on idea 3

Monday → B-roll reel with voiceover on idea 1

Wednesday → Carousel on idea 2

Friday → Face-to-cam reel on idea 3

Monday → B-roll reel with text overlay + audio on idea 1

It's all the same damn topic, covering the same damn angles, but everything still feels fresh and new while reinforcing your core messaging and working towards the same goal.

Prime example? The core of this newsletter is also explained in this post and a carousel I have scheduled for later this week.

If you want more step-by-step instructions on repurposing tf from your content, grab this lil freebie.

Catch ya next week,

Marissa

Small talk? Not for me. Going down a deep, wild rabbit hole on random topics I have intense interests in? Bet. Let's go. And one of my FAVORITE topics to talk about? How f*cking cool social media is. BUT LIKE -- not in the way you're thinking about it right now. Because let it be known I'm writing this from ACROSS THE GLOBE rn...simply because I dared to consistently post on Instagram. Roll the tape: it's 2024. I get an inquiry form...from someone in Australia. She found me because I was on a...

Hey, hi, hello. I sure hope you sang the subject line to the tune of Rebecca Black's Friday... which is ironic since I just realized Rebecca...BLACK Friday. MEANT TO BE. TRULY. But let's talk Q4 - because we're about to enter the craziest time of year. no matter if you're B2B or B2C... q4 always hits different! People are buying. People are panicking that they didn't hit their goals. People are "ready to do things differently" next year. Between the holiday shopping mindset, businesses with...

✨ Rolls up sleeves and hands seltzer to husband ✨ Anyone wanna tell me why you're treating social media like the be-all, end-all of your marketing funnel? Because while social media is great for discovery, attention is NOT the whole damn point. Those views you're obsessed with getting? Great. But what happens AFTER someone sees your post? Do they keep scrolling, consume 14 more reels, and completely forget you existed? Because if soooo, then those views aren't exactly doing much for your...
